Homeless Shelter For Men
The overnight shelter operates 365 days a year, providing shelter and a meal for 60 men per night, on a first come first come basis.
Food Pantry
The food pantry distributes food to the needy on a weekly basis.
Supplemental Educational Services
Hope Haven Christian Academy provides after-school tutoring or Advancing Mastery in reading in Grades 1-2 for Chicago Public SChool students while providing a safe atmosphere to community children.
Summer Camp
The Summer camp provides a safe atmosphere to community children and youth during the summer months. The program has educational as well as recreational components. The camp attendees receive a morning snack and lunch daily.
Winter Camp
Winter Camp is a daily educational and recreational program providing activities for school aged children and youth during the winter school break.
Breakfast Ministry
A community breakfast is served each Sunday morning to families until the food is exhausted. All are welcome to attend.
Nursing Home Instantiation
Once a month, visits are made to nursing homes to provide a bit of cheer to the residents. There are sing-a-longs, and games open to all residents.
Retirement / Senior Ministry
The ministries are open to persons who are retired and/or senior citizens. This vibrant group participates in various activities for seniors in the Chicagoland area.
Clothing Ministry
Donated clothing is given away to the community as it becomes available.
Miracle MInistry
The Miracle Ministry is a weekly support group for men dealing with overcoming addiction and/or criminal backgrounds.
Jail & Prison Ministry
Visits are made to jails and prisons to offer encouragement to the to the incarcerated.
Health Ministry
Information on various health and healthcare related issues is distributed to the community.
Chicago Bible Institute
Bible classes are offered to persons wishing to further their theological education.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Each year a Christmas breakfast is prepared for the community and gifts are presented to overnight shelter residents.
